These working groups meet during the SDHS annual conference and continue to network throughout the year via e-mail and postal mailings. The working groups are not mutually exclusive, as scholars specializing in early dance may also be involved in reconstruction, scholars interested in ethnicity and dance may also be involved in teaching dance history, and students may be interested in all of the above.
